The results

2013

The expert commission of the International Inclusive Dance Contest has considered the applications of 60 groups of dancers and dancing couples from 22 regions of Russia and from abroad. From October 1-15 the commission of experts assessed the aplications, and the assessement results were approved at the meeting of the Festival Organising Committee on October 17.

The assessment of dancing performances was made by:

1) Sophia Alexandersson, director of Share Music Sweden (Sweden)
2) Natalya Golovkina, choreographer of the Akvamarin circus (Russia)
3) Katharina Zabransky, choreographer of Dance Ability (Austria)
4) Viktor Nikitushkin, teacher and choreographer of the Moiseyev State Folk Dance Company, People's Artist of Russia (Russia)
5) Leonid Pletnev, President of the International Dance Union (IDU) (Russia)
6) Stuart Saunders, general director of the World WheelChair Dancing Federation(UK)
7) Anna Sheveleva, finalist of international sport dance contests (Russia)
8) Nicolay Yaroshenko, professor of Moscow State University of Culture and Arts (Russia)

The winners of the contest – groups and dancing couples who took 1st places in their nominations- were chosen in 12 contest nominations.

The title “Contest Winner”, titles “the First Award Winner”, “the Second Award Winner”, “the Third Award winner” and the title “Honorary Participant” were approved by the expert commission and the Festival Organising Committee. The titles of laureates are awarded to the winners of the contest and to the groups who gained high scores, but didn’t take the 1st places in their nominations.

Grand Prix winners

1) Inclusive group of dancers Nerazluchnye druzya (Inseparable Friends), (Vologda region, Cherepovets), nomination “Folk dance style – inclusive group of dancers – children (aged 7-18)” and nomination “Folk dance style – inclusive pair – children (aged 7-18)”
2) Folk dance group Paralleli (Parallels), (Lipetsk), nomination “Modern dance style – inclusive group of dancers – youth and adults (aged 19-35)” and nomination “Modern dance style – inclusive pair – youth and adults (aged 19-35)”.

The First Award Winner

1) Lutskov Igor – Shtreker Nadezhda (Sport-dance club «SportDance», Moscow region, Podolsk), nomination “Ballroom dance style – inclusive pair – youth and adults (aged 19-35)”
2) The ball dance group «Sensitive» (Kazakhstan, Petropavlovsk), nomination “Ballroom dance style – inclusive group of dancers – youth and adults (aged 19-35)”
3) Darovskikh Nicolay – Osipova Victoria (“duet “Vyatka”, Kirov region, Kirov), nomination “Folk dance style – inclusive pair – youth and adults (aged 19-35)”
4) dance group Syurpriz (Surprise) ( Kirov region, Murygino), nomination “Folk dance style – inclusive group of dancers – youth and adults (aged 19-35)”.
5) Gladky Ilya – Bogomolova Valeria (dance group Stupeni (Steps), Vologda region, Cherepovets), nomination “Modern dance style – inclusive pair – children (aged 7-18).
6) Children rehabilitation dance project “Preodoley-ka” (Moscow), nomination “Modern dance style – inclusive group of dancers – children (aged 7-18).
7) Choreographic group Otrazhenie (Reflection) (Nizhniy Novgorod), nomination “Latin American dance style – inclusive group of dancers – children (aged 7-18).
8) Circus school Nadezhda (Hope) (Krasnodar Territory, Abinsk), nomination “Acrobatic dance style – inclusive pair – children (aged 7-18).

The Second Award Winner
