1. General Provisions
The goal of special contests is to create the conditions for active and comprehensive coverage of events aimed at social integration of people with disabilities through dance in Russia and abroad.
Special contests (hereinafter “contests”) are conducted within the framework of the Inclusive Dance International Charity Dance Festival (hereinafter “Festival”).
Everyone, regardless of age, education, citizenship, and place of residence, is invited to take part in the contests by preparing works of visual art, photographs, video films, and press publications about inclusive dance (collaborative dance between people with and without disabilities) in Russia and worldwide.
Contests have international status.
2. Competition directions
Special Contests are held in 4 four directions:
- Visual arts exhibition and contest (Fine Art Competition "Artists for Inclusive Dance")
- Photography exhibition and contest "Beautiful moments of inclusive dance"
- Publications contest “Towards the integration of society through inclusive dance”
- Video film contest “Inclusive dance: events and people”
The special contests are held on an annual basis.
The dates of the festival for a given year are determined at a meeting of the Festival’s Organizing Committee and are published as an informational bulletin on the Festival's website: www.inclusive-dance.ru
3. The topics
The topic of the contest is the social integration of people with disabilities via inclusive dance, a form of collaborative dance work between people with and without disabilities.
4. Categories of participants
- Professional. Professional artists, photographers, journalists, documentary filmmakers can participate in this category.
- Amateur. Everyone, regardless of their age, who does not have specialized training in the field of the given contest can participate in this category.
5. Requirements for contest entries
- Visual arts exhibition and contest “Artists for Inclusive Dance”
Works of visual art in any style (oil, water colours, gouache, crayons, chalks, application, mixed technique, and so forth). The work should not be copied copy, must be executed by the author independently and reflect the topic. For competitive selection will be sent digital photos (or scanned copies) of works. The digital image should be of a printing quality - an extension of at least 300 dpi, the colors should not be distorted. Digital photographs of the works should be submitted for the contest selection process.
- Photography exhibition and contest “Wonderful Moments of Inclusive Dance”
Colour and black & white photographs in digital format are accepted for participation in the competition. Works should meet the requirement of being suitable for printing. Resolution must be at least 300 dpi. Entries can be separate photographs, collages, and photo reportages, which reflect the everyday activities of inclusive dancers, their performances and relationships.
- Journalistic publications contest “Towards the Integration of Society Through Inclusive Dance”
Articles, reports, essays, interviews, profiles, and so forth, published in magazines, newspapers, online publications, official websites of organizations, on social networking websites, and in blogs are accepted for participation in the contest. Entries should not exceed 5000 characters.
- Video film contest “Inclusive Dance: Events and People”
Video films are accepted for participation in the competition. Video can also be posted on the Internet. All video file formats and duration are permitted.
6. Stages of contests
The first stage - an expert assessment
The members of the competent jury select the best works. Works are considered according to two criteria: the artistic level and originality of the plot.

The vote counts as “Like”, comment with “+” sign, repost.
7. Awards
According to the results of the two stages, the titles are “Laureate of I degree”, “Laureate of II degree”, “Laureate of III degree” and “Diploma”.
The title of "Diploma" receive the authors of works that have not passed to the second round.
Titles of laureates are assigned on the basis of a vote of the audience.
The works of the “Laureates of the I degree” with information about the author are published in the official printed edition of the Festival - the magazine “Equal In Dance!”. The best videos are published on the official YouTube channel of the Festival, as well as broadcast at the Festival events.
All contestants receive award diplomas.
The jury and the organizing committee of the Festival may determine special nominations and establish additional prizes.
8. Requirements for the submission of applications
To take part in the contests, an application must be submitted in the proscribed format.
Both organizations and individuals can submit applications for participation in the contest.
